UNDERWATER CINEMATOGRAPHY

As explorers and conservationists there is nothing more important than documenting the work you do. Over the years we have ramped up our ability to film high quality footage. We are now using some of the best technology on the market. In spite of this we still love get creative- using home-made or prototype gear to get those magic behavior shots that otherwise would seem unattainable. To that end we also shoot with a wide range of custom built rigs that allow us to shoot easily and creatively in the field from our boats, planes, quadbikes or underwater platforms.

We love the reach of film so it was natural for us to branch out from filming our own work to filming for others. Our team and our gear are now being used to produce films all over southern Africa. Capturing the moments that take people’s breath away or building a sequence that captivates their attention, requires skill, the right gear, a lot of patience and most importantly time. Being in the right place at the right time is not luck, it is dedication, problem solving and perseverance. Our team is based the field shooting year-round, allowing us to capture never before seen behaviors and sequences of Africa’s most extreme and beautiful marine environments.
