EYE IN THE SKY

We work with some of the most experienced microlight pilots in Southern Africa with extensive experience flying for conservation and filming projects.

AERIAL MISSIONS

We proudly integrate light sports aircrafts into our work for a variety of flying services from wildlife monitoring and aerial surveillance to location scouting and filming. We rely on African bush pilots with extensive experience and use custom built planes that are versatile, can fly low-level and that offer customizable options for survey work or filming. We often consult on aerial operations for national parks, NGOs and production companies but are open to working with private citizens as well if we can be of service.

AERIAL SERVICES

While we are happy to entertain any kind of flying request, we specialize in the following services:

Aerial filming and photography

Aerial reconnaissance for conservation & film productions

Scientific aerial surveys and transects

Vegetation mapping, erosion & water-point monitoring

Ranger patrols & anti-poaching missions

“To conduct successful aerial missions for conservation it takes more than being an excellent pilot. It takes a healthy fearlessness to fly far into the bush or open ocean in search of potentially illegal activities. It takes a deep passion and good eye to anticipate, follow and count rare and endangered species. Most importantly, it takes a profound understanding of your plane, especially when operating in remote locations.” – Janneman Conradie

AERIAL CONSERVATION

Being able to see ecosystems from the sky not only changes people’s perceptions, but allows us to better manage and protect nature for both animals and humans alike. Thus, we are always keen to work with government, protected area managers and NGOs in southern Africa who are in need of aerial surveys and monitoring as part of their mission to conserve threatened species or our wild spaces.
